I'm so glad Dr Boyd is helping me. I've had lumbar issues well over 30 yrs. Using physical therapy over 30yrs, water exercise 12yrs, chiropractic care over 30yrs, even acupuncture for a month or 2. Lots of walking. Gradually worse. This is next step. He shares MRI with you in detail. Awesome explanations. Thanks so much

My pain level has dropped about 90% giving me back some good quality of life again. I just have to be cognizant that my back problem is still here I just can't feel it!
Dr. Ashmore is not only competent and professional, he is compassionate and appears to genuinely care for his patients. He kept me informed about what he was doing during the procedure every step of the way.
Okay so I cannot remember the name of the doctor I saw, but I do remember that he made me feel safe, comfortable, and most importantly, he listened and I felt like he actually cared. All of the staff I interacted with were kind and helpful, the wait time was short, and the office was clean and calm. Whoever is in charge needs to give everyone a raise.
Megan Tolar made me feel as though she saw me and heard me. She was very clear about my plan of care and compassionate about what I've been through and what I'm facing now.

Megan was fantastic. She was the best nurse practitioner that I?ve ever had. She was very clear on the procedures that were next and what to do to get me out of pain. I would love to go to her again and the hospital and staff were all friendly. I have no negative comments because everything was just incredible. Thank you so much, [...].
Treatment options were not discussed. I was told I would speak with my primary doctor. I was very pleased with the service and treatment. The doctor and the nurse both made sure I understood what was being done and responded to all questions. Thank you
Ms. Michelle was personable, provided great insight to my medical situation, she asked great questions, and she was a good listener.
I felt heard, respected, and she treated me with dignity. I would recommend her to others.
Dr. Engh is truly a blessing. He is a professional while being compassionate and kind. He spent the time necessary to ensure that I had clarity about my condition and the procedure that he would perform. I feel very safe, seen, and cared for having him as a provider.
Dr. Boyd was amazing. He listened and genuinely cared. My problem with my neck occurred [...] and have seen multiple doctors with no answers or compassion. The entire staff from the time we walked in, to the nurses, scheduling, and checkout were beyond amazing. No words to describe how amazing you all are and thankful for Dr. Boyd and looking forward to having surgery and getting this insane pain behind me.
I came to Dr. Toussaint’s team in pain and with reduced mobility and was treated with care and concern. Following a quick and accurate diagnosis, I received a lumbar fusion and the excellent level of care continued. From history and physical to exceptional surgery, prescribed physical therapy, and subsequent follow up, I couldn’t be happier or more grateful. I still can’t believe that within 10 weeks of surgery, I was walking long distances and able to travel abroad - all pain-free. This is a great team!
Michele Blackman PA is exceptional. I been in her care for years and she is thorough and encouraging. She truly cares for my wellbeing and empathetic for my chronic pain.
Excellent concern and clear explanation of my issue.
Thank you for providing knowledgeable personnel with the ability to provide easily understandable information.
Everybody that I have interacted with and encountered at this office has been nothing short of amazing. I am truly grateful for Lexington, brain and spine, especially Dr. Boyd and his team.
Doctor Jay is the first doctor I've spoken with that truly seemed to care and listen to what I had to say it's been very frustrating lately so that was refreshing.
Dr acted like he only had 5 minutes to review my case.
I actually had to ask him to stop before walking out the door to discuss another issue I marked on the paper prior to him entering the exam room.
Dr. Engh was so helpful. I went to him because I needed advice and a second opinion regarding recent surgeries on my brain and resulting issues. He was concise, took time with me, gave helpful advice and eased my mind.
Got an appointment rather quickly. Once there the r appointment start on time and all staff was very kind & professional. Any concerns were addressed and there was a plan of action set up almost immediately.
I reached out to her for an earlier appointment because I was in pain from [...] and she got me in quickly. Thanks to her concern I had relief for the first time since the accident
Victoria is the best!!! She explained everything in full details when I asked her how things works and not to mention she was the only one to accept me due to someone else put my shunt in!!! 100/10 recommend!!!
The whole experience with Lexington Medical Center could not have been better. Simply awesome! Dr Engh and his team are amazingly compassionate and extremely talented! They turned a serious medical issue and the stress that accompanies it, ultimately, into a blessing. I will be forever grateful!
Carolyn Perdue was so knowledgeable about what we might do or do something else. Very smart & a great sense of humor. Up front & honest. Love that about someone who is telling you about what could & could not happen so that you are prepared. Wonderful appointment.
Dr Gibson was very thorough explaining the details of my upcoming cervical spine surgery to me and my daughter's. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to answer our questions. I feel very comfortable with him as my surgeon.
Excellent service! I'm having surgery soon and Dr. Toussaint made me feel much more at ease by explaining exactly what to expect from this experience since I've never been a patient in a hospital! He is a thorough professional and I'm happy to be his patient.
Dr. Justin Gibson is an excellent doctor. Heads and antlers above most! He is compassionate, articulate in explaining the injury and prognosis and therapy going forward.
I was also impressed with his team in his office and how efficient it was run. I had been admitted to the Lexington hospital a couple of weeks prior and found the hospital excellent as well.
The visit was for my mother. The doctor listen talked and explained. He explained what the treatment plan would be. He made sure we understood what is going on.
As an introvert, I'm very anxious about people touching me. Jay seemed to notice this and took a lighthearted approach during the evaluation which helped me relax my guard for the duration of the appointment. I appreciate that he did not push a specific drug or injection and provided options and next steps. The fact that he seemed very interested in my recovery and his willingness to assist beyond this visit , makes me feel valued and glad that I was able to meet with him.
My provider was very competent and thorough in his explanation of my situation. He took time to understand my complex history and then approached all next steps with care and the proper amount of education. Even the resident in the room was compassionate and patient. I have been to many neurosurgeons, and this is the first time I walked away with understanding and assurance I was on the proper course of treatment.
I felt valued as a patient because Dr. Gibson was, firstly, truthful and explained everything in a way that was understandable. He showed respect and concern as well as the rest of the team. I know what to expect and can depend on this team to assist me all the way!
