Dr Boyer was the most condescending and unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered. He consistently interrupted me while I was answering his questions. Responses like “it doesn’t matter” and “ if you did this”. The staff was terrific but I would definitely NOT recommend this doctor. Complete waste of my time and money.

I was very disappointed in the lack of care and compassion. I was cut off by the doctor when I tried to ask a question or make a comment. I left in tears and a lot of pain.

Dr. Boyer was very condescending during my visit. My first time meeting this doctor and he opens the door and says, "shoe and sock off and on the table", then shuts the door and leaves. Upon returning he doesn't introduce himself but demand, Who put you in that boot?!? The entire visit was him talking over me, not fully listening to me, interrupting and putting his hand on my leg as if to shut me up it was very off putting. He seemed annoyed and I even stated that "you seem annoyed". I did not feel this was genuine care, but an inconvenience of sort. I left very discouraged. Extremely unsettled.

Dr. Boyer’s sense of humor is refreshing! I still don’t recommend breaking an ankle to anyone, but if it does happen it’s nice to have someone who can make you feel seen and make you laugh on your care team.

About Dr. Boyer
Dr. Boyer's area of specialty focuses on foot and ankle care. He was trained at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Boyer is married with three young children, and he has a wide range of hobbies. One of his favorite pastimes is rebuilding and racing vintage Mustangs. He also plays guitar and enjoys gardening.
Dr. Boyer believes experience is one of the most important factors in providing quality care. Lexington Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine provides that experience with physicians who are fellowship trained in a wide range of orthopaedic specialties.
